When I think of Pumice, I used to think of rubbing hard skin from my feet in the tub… now I think of Lampshades, Mirror Frames, Candleholders…
…it’s a truly strange world.
Enjoy pictures and details of our newest (yet not actually oddest) range of products by going to:

We’ve just uploaded some Bamboo Tiki signs and lampshades — over 30 products in all.
Nothing too serious or “artsy” but great filler items for your container if you’re shipping bamboo furniture or tiki bars, etc.
Check out the new line at:

We haven’t made many updates over the past few weeks — Spring Cleaning… that’s our excuse and we’re going to stick to that story… like glue.
Here’s a new range of vases, candleholders and decorative dishes.
This stuff is mainly from Java — not a Balinese product line — but a very pleasing, slightly more modern range of items made from copper, aluminium or stone. We’re not absolutely sure what type of stone is being used — the maker calls it “fossil stone” but that seems a bit of a misnomer to me… let’s just call it really old, polished stone — looks like marble.

There’s nothing simple, easy or uncomplicated about these guys…
…bright colors, weird shapes — call them fancy or fantastical — hand carved and hand painted (as usual) and, like most of our painted wood products, made from Albesia wood.
50 new models online today — please go to:

Ok, forget the fact that we’re based in the world’s most populous Muslim country (Indonesia); also, please ignore the fact that Bali is almost completely Hindu. Don’t pay attention to the fact that I was born London Irish about as Catholic as it gets… today, we’re all about enlightenment…
…Buddha style.
Enough kidding, these reliefs (3-D style artwork) hand painted and carved on albesia wood all depict Buddha in his various moods and styles.
See the new category by going to:

Also, if you’re really interested in all things Buddha and Buddhist, just run a search on Indonesia Export for “buddha” and you’ll find a variety of different styles and media that might be interesting.
To save you a little time, I’ve pasted the main categories below.
Enjoy.

Here are some more of the colorful woven bamboo containers — you’ll find these in use in most of the local restaurants around Bali to keep flies off food and so on.

You take glass, you heat it until it’s about 1,500 degrees, pour it into a mould, poke around with a stick to make patters — add some color to it and what do you get?
http://www.indonesiaexport.com/frame.php?category=Glassware
Glasses, jars, dishes, vases… if it’s made out of glass, we can probably make it… by hand.
Enjoy.

These photo and picture frames have been around for years but only recently caught our attention after we shipped a bunch of them to France. Rustic, imperfect, old-fashioned and somewhat charming.

We should probably rename this category — cute animals doesn’t really tell you a lot. Brightly painted, whimsical (now, there’s a good word) animal carvings is a lot closer to the mark.

I’ve probably already mentioned how well we’ve been doing with our Tiki Figures — but just in case I didn’t make myself clear…
…as far as our American market goes (and, by far, most of our customers are American), the Tiki line on its own has proven to be our most successful “new line” of products. Whether we’re talking about masks, statues, carvings, wall plaques, wooden signs, totems, tiki huts, bamboo furniture or tiki huts.
Click here to see the newest additions to the range:
http://www.indonesiaexport.com/frame.php?category=Tiki+Figures
And, in another few days, we’re going to reorganise our whole Tiki Range to make everything easier to find. Check this page for updates on that.
Enjoy,
Sean

Today’s update is a small category of wood & wrought iron candleholders; the concept has been around for a while but it looks like the quality has now improved to a point that we think you might like…
…only 15 products in all but, as with many of our product lines, you can use this as a showcase: meaning, if it’s made out of wood and it’s in our catalogue, we can most likely turn it into a candleholder.
See the whole line by going to:
